The best part of German cuisine has come to Los Angeles at Wurstkche, the purveyor of exotic grilled sausages in Downtown Los Angeles and the westside in. This is my new spot!! I was so embarrassed, but he came around the corner and hugged me, and not some passing, perfunctory hug. I held it in all day, and the guy waiting on me started talking about Father's Day, and I started WEEPING. I went on Father's Day and just lost my Dad. Two would have been even better, but I can always get two next time! This place may not be a full service restaurant with waiters serving at your table, but make no mistake, the service is phenomenal, and it has an incredible vibe.
